Just a below average idiot that mostly comments for one of 3 reasons:

Catharsis, expressing exasperation over the general state of things.

Looking to make someone laugh.

Self deprecation.

Ahhh the Wii… I’m always reminded of a story I have about playing Wii sports. I had just gotten the Wii fairly recently and played the shit out of Wii sports, I would really get into swinging like I was actually trying to hit something. I worked at a restaurant at the time and was standing by the door to the kitchen talking to a coworker about how I couldn’t believe how sore I got myself and just as my manager is walking out from the kitchen I say “even my ass is sore!” and the manager just gives me this look like “wtf!?”

Ahh the Wii. Fun times. Lol

  • That’s not how it went down, the Republicans complained Obama would just pick a far left activist judge and specifically called out Merrick Garland as a “reasonable moderate” candidate that he should choose, so he did. Obama didn’t have the votes in the Senate to have whoever he wanted so he called the Republicans bluff, picked Garland, and then Mitch McDemonturtle started his “it’s an election year” song and dance as cover for why they weren’t going to allow a vote. Mitch was the Senate majority leader so he had control over what the Senate did as far as what votes were allowed to be taken up. There wasn’t anything Obama could do but nominate someone, then it’s up to the Senate to confirm.

Just as Trump got his pick because Mitch McDemonturtle has no fucking morals, he was still in charge of the Senate at that time and so even though the 2020 election was in progress he forced a vote asap so they got their pick… They’re such hypocritical pricks

  • It was fun for a time when their API access was free so some game developers put llms into their games. I liked being able to communicate with my ships computer, but quickly saw how flawed it was.

“Computer, can you tell me what system we’re in?”

“Sure, we’re in the Goober system.”

“But my map says we’re in Tweedledum.”

“Well it appears that your map is wrong.” Lol

I’m much more concerned about the future when “AGI” is actually useful and implemented into society. “We” (the ownership class) cannot accept anything other than the standard form of ownership. Those that created the AGI own the AGI and “rent” it to those that will “employ” the AGI. Pair that with more capable robotics being currently developed and there will be very little need for people to work most jobs. Because of the concept of ownership we will not let go of, if you can afford to live then you just die. There will be no “redistribution” to help those who cannot find work. We will start hearing more and more about “we don’t need so many people, X billion is too many. There isn’t enough work for them to support themselves.” Not a fun future…
