    Guy that wrote this clearly does not ham. That is not a boofwang radio.

    EDIT: Quansheng UV-K6 is a very good radio for the price in its own right. Hacked firmwares available that do all kinds of cool things. Also this project is super cool too.

      Update (05/10/2025): This article originally identified the donor radio as a Baofeng UV-K6; the project is instead based on the Quansheng UV-K6, and the article has been corrected accordingly.
